Most but, not all FHA & VA underwriters also require that we do a WELL WATER CERTIFICATION REPORT.  Check with your lender to see if you need this & let us know when scheduling.  This is to ensure compliance & performance of the well.  We take pic & do a visual inspection of the well head.  If we can locate the septic we will measure the distance to the well to ensure a safe distance.  In addition, we measure the (GPM)allons per minute) at the hose spigot/bibb/ as well as PSI, water pressure.

Great idea to add this on if your water test pkg does not include these tests to identify: Bacteria, parasite, fungi, insects & minerals.

H.U.D. requires all lenders, mortgage companies and banks to test any home that has well water as their drinking water to ensure potability prior to closing.  Underwriting guidelines state that this sample must be taken by a disinterested 3rd party to a professional lab for analysis.  The buyer, seller, real estate agents, lender or anyone connected to this transaction cannot take the sample due to the inherent conflict of interest.  See menu/sample report to learn more. 3-5 day turnaround
